Inflatable Barrel Ice Bath

A drop-stitch inflatable plunge tub built from military-grade PVC that, once inflated, becomes rigid enough to hold 105 gallons (approximately 397 litres) of water. The walls use the same interlocked-fibre construction found in stand-up paddleboards, meaning they resist both external impact and the high internal pressure of a full water column without flexing or bulging.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect a chiller to this tub without any modifications?
Yes. The tub comes with pre-drilled Water In and Water Out ports on the back panel. Simply remove the watertight caps, attach the chiller hoses to the appropriate ports, and the circuit is ready. No drilling or additional fittings are required.
How long does it take to inflate and fill the tub?
Inflation with the included manual pump takes roughly 10–20 minutes. Filling the 397L capacity from a garden hose depends on your water pressure but typically takes 20–40 minutes. Allow additional time if you are chilling with manual ice.
Is the tub stable once inflated, or does it flex under water pressure?
The drop-stitch PVC construction — the same used in rigid inflatable paddleboards — creates a firm, non-flexing wall when inflated to the correct PSI. Fully filled, the walls do not bow or deform.
What is the internal diameter, and will it fit a larger adult?
The internal diameter is 78.7 cm (31 inches). This is sized for one person standing or seated upright. Taller or broader users may find the fit snug — consider this before purchasing.
What do I do if I notice a small leak or puncture?
Use the included PVC patch kit immediately. Clean and dry the area, apply the adhesive patch per the instructions, and allow it to cure fully before re-inflating. Do not use the tub with an active leak.

About this ice bath

Overview

The tub ships with a full kit covering inflation, drainage, and chiller connectivity. Three colour-coded ports on the back panel — Water In, Air Valve, and Water Out — allow the tub to be connected directly to an electric chiller unit or used with manual ice. Pre-drilled watertight caps are fitted from the factory, so a chiller can be added at any point without modification.

When deflated, the tub packs down small enough to fit inside the included heavy-duty carry backpack, making it practical for temporary setups, travel, or venues that need equipment stored between sessions. An insulated thermal lid with safety buckles is included to slow heat gain between uses.

  • Drop-stitch military-grade PVC walls inflate to a rigid, non-flexing structure that holds 397L of water
  • 105-gallon (397L) capacity suits most adults for a full-immersion plunge
  • Three colour-coded rear ports (Water In, Air Valve, Water Out) allow direct chiller connection or manual ice use
  • Insulated thermal lid with safety buckles reduces heat gain between sessions
  • Rapid-drain bottom valve and extendable hose direct water away during changeovers
  • Deflates and packs into the included carry backpack for transport or compact storage
  • PVC patch repair kit included for field maintenance
  • Easier to clean than fibreglass or timber alternatives — smooth interior with no crevices

Delivery

Lead time and specific delivery terms were not provided in the supplier material — confirm with the logistics team before publishing.

Delivery is typically kerbside; the packed tub fits in the carry backpack (single-person carry) so no lifting equipment is required for last-metre placement. No special vehicle access is needed.

Customers should confirm a clear path to their chosen setup location prior to delivery.

Installation

The tub requires no tools to set up. Unpack from the carry backpack, unfold on a flat, level surface, and inflate using the included high-pressure pump to the recommended PSI indicated on the air valve label. Inflation typically takes 10–20 minutes with the manual pump; an electric pump (if included in your kit) reduces this significantly.

Once inflated, connect a garden hose or chiller inlet hose to the green Water In port and fill to the desired level. Attach an electric chiller via the Water In and Water Out ports if chilled water is required — no additional drilling or modification is needed. Watertight caps seal the ports when a chiller is not in use.

No plumbing or electrical work is required for manual-ice operation. If connecting a chiller, ensure a standard power outlet is accessible within reach of the chiller's cable. A single person can set up the tub in under 30 minutes.

Warranty

If an electrical item stops working within the warranty period, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

Warranty duration and specific coverage terms were not stated in the supplier material. Please confirm warranty details before listing.

Care & Maintenance

- After each use, drain the tub fully via the Water Out port and rinse the interior with clean water before deflating.
- Wipe the inner surface with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid bleach concentrations above 10ppm or solvent-based cleaners, which can degrade the PVC.
- Before deflating for storage, ensure the interior is fully dry to prevent mould growth inside the packed tub.
- Inspect port fittings and the air valve for tightness before each inflation. Use the included plumber's tape on threaded connections if any weeping is noticed.
- Use the included PVC patch kit to repair any punctures immediately — do not use the tub with an active leak.
- Store the deflated tub away from direct UV exposure and sharp objects. The carry backpack is suitable for regular storage.

Returns & Refunds

Stock items can be returned within 7 days of delivery in resalable condition. Custom and made to order items cannot be returned once production has begun. Faulty goods are repaired, replaced or refunded at our cost.

Everything you want to know about saunas & heaters

Outdoor and indoor cabins, barrels, cylinders and sauna + shower combos — from a compact one-person unit up to ten-person commercial rooms, all customisable to your space. Browse saunas.

Western Red Cedar and Finnish Thermo Pine both handle heat and humidity beautifully; Hinoki is our premium pick. We’ll match the timber to your budget and location.

Outdoor saunas are fully weather-sealed for gardens, rooftops and pool decks; indoor models are built for bathrooms, gyms and spare rooms. Both use indoor-rated electric heaters.

Most home saunas run on a dedicated single- or three-phase circuit sized to the heater. We’ll confirm the exact electrical requirement in your quote.

Both are food-grade and corrosion-resistant; 316 adds extra protection for coastal and chlorinated environments. We recommend the right grade for your site. See ice baths.

Ice works to get started, but a chiller holds a precise temperature day after day with no effort — the easiest way to make cold therapy a daily habit.

Our chillers take the water down to around 3°C and hold it there. Most people plunge between 3–10°C depending on experience.

A built-in filtration and sanitation cycle keeps the water fresh for weeks. We’ll walk you through simple water care at handover.

We’re open now in Chonburi, Thursday to Sunday, with Founding Member pricing until 30 September. The full experience opens 4 September — book ahead to be sure of a spot. Book a visit.

The Garden runs on advance bookings so every session has the space to itself — so book ahead if you can. That said, if you're passing and spot us, scan the sign at the gate or give us a call, and if there's room in the current session we'll happily wave you in.

Saunas, ice baths, a swimming pool and shaded lounge areas — everything you need for the full hot-and-cold circuit. Explore the garden.

Delivery to the spot, full assembly, levelling, heater fitting and a handover walkthrough so it’s ready to use the same day.

A firm, level base — a concrete pad, deck or paved area — plus a nearby power point. We’ll send a simple prep checklist before delivery.

Final connection should be made by a licensed electrician. We provide the full specification and can recommend trusted local contractors.

Yes — we deliver right across Thailand by freight, and ship internationally on request. Delivery details.

Most saunas are ready eight to ten weeks from order. Once built, freight to your address typically takes a few days, with tracking provided.

Standard nationwide delivery is included. For tricky access — rooftops, tight lanes or upper floors — we’ll quote any crane or extra handling up front.

Everything ships in a purpose-built timber crate to protect the timber and glass in transit — and the crate is easy to dispose of or repurpose.
