Inflatable Tub Ice Bath

Built from drop-stitch technology — the same dual-layer PVC construction used in high-pressure inflatable paddleboards — this tub inflates to a rigid, board-hard shell in about two minutes and holds its shape under the full weight of water and occupant. Walls stand 70 cm tall, which keeps water well contained indoors or out. The tub deflates and packs into an included travel backpack when you need to move it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to use ice, or can I just connect a chiller?
Both options work. You can fill the tub with cold water and add ice manually, or connect a compatible electric chiller to the built-in ½" Water IN and OUT ports for on-demand temperature control. The ports come with watertight caps so you can start with ice and add a chiller later without any modifications.
How rigid does the tub get when inflated?
The drop-stitch construction — two PVC layers linked by thousands of polyester threads — inflates to a board-hard shell at the recommended 8 PSI. It will not flex or bow under the weight of water or a user up to approximately 136 kg.
Which size should I choose?
The 150 cm option suits most users up to around 180 cm tall. The 160 cm and 170 cm options give more leg room and are recommended for taller users — the 170 cm length is listed as accommodating users up to 6'8" (203 cm). All three sizes share the same 100 cm width and 70 cm wall height.
How long does it take to inflate and set up?
Inflation takes approximately 2 minutes using the included pump. Filling with water (approximately 390 L) via a standard hose takes additional time depending on your water pressure. Allow extra time if you are adding ice or waiting for a connected chiller to cool the water.
How often should I change the water?
Change the water at least once a week with regular daily use, or sooner if it looks cloudy or smells off. If a chiller with filtration is connected, you can extend the interval — follow the chiller's water treatment guidelines. The bottom drain and extendable hose make emptying straightforward.

About this ice bath

Overview

Three length options (150 cm, 160 cm, 170 cm) suit different heights; the source notes it accommodates users up to 6’8″. All sizes share a 100 cm width and 70 cm wall height. Built-in ½” Water IN and Water OUT ports with watertight caps let you connect an electric chiller later without any modifications.

The insulated inflatable lid locks down with child-safety buckle straps to retain cold between uses. Fade-resistant Max/Min water level marks on the inner wall guide safe filling. A heavy-duty bottom drain with extendable hose directs water away cleanly during changes. The tub is equally suited to manual ice use or permanent chiller-connected operation indoors or outdoors.

Delivery

Lead time is typically 3–7 business days from order confirmation, subject to stock availability. Delivery is kerbside; the package will be left at your address boundary or front door. The deflated tub ships in a single carton (shipping weight approximately 20 kg), which one person can manage. No crane or special access is required. Please ensure vehicle access to your delivery address. Contact us before ordering if you have restricted access (e.g. apartment building without lift).

Installation

Setup requires no tools and no trades. Place the deflated tub on a flat, level surface indoors or outdoors. Attach the pump to the inflation valve (pin up to inflate), inflate to the recommended 8 PSI — this takes approximately 2 minutes with the included pump. Fill with water to the Max level mark on the inner wall (approximately 390 L at 75% capacity).

To connect an electric chiller, thread the chiller hoses onto the ½" Water IN (green port) and Water OUT (red port) fittings. No plumbing modifications are required. The ports have watertight caps if a chiller is not used.

No electrical connection is needed for the tub itself. If a chiller is added, a standard 220 V / 50 Hz power outlet within reach of the chiller's power cord is required — refer to the chiller's specifications for circuit requirements.

Warranty

The tub is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear and tear, misuse, and damage caused by improper inflation pressure or chemical exposure are not covered.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning
- After each use, wipe the inner wall with a clean cloth. For deeper cleaning, drain fully and rinse with fresh water.
- Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner diluted in water. Avoid bleach, solvents, or harsh chemicals that can degrade the PVC.
- Clean the Water IN/OUT port threads and caps regularly to prevent mineral build-up.

Water Changes
- Change the water at least weekly with regular use, or sooner if it becomes cloudy or develops an odour.
- If using a chiller, follow the chiller manufacturer's guidelines on water treatment and change frequency.

Storage
- Before deflating for storage, drain completely and allow the interior to air-dry to prevent mildew.
- Deflate using the inflation valve, fold neatly, and store in the included travel backpack away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.
- Do not store while damp or in temperatures below 0 °C.

Repairs
- Use the included PVC patch kit and adhesive to repair minor punctures. Clean and dry the area before applying any patch.
- Check valve tightness periodically with the included valve wrench.

What People Say

Real customers, real saunas, real ice baths — in Thai homes, villas, condos and commercial spaces.

This is the third chiller I have purchased in the last 2 years. This new chiller is perfect and can be operated from the App, allowing me to only have it operating for a few hours before each morning plunge. The service I have received has also been excellent.

Western Red Cedar and Finnish Thermo Pine both handle heat and humidity beautifully; Hinoki is our premium pick. We’ll match the timber to your budget and location.

Outdoor saunas are fully weather-sealed for gardens, rooftops and pool decks; indoor models are built for bathrooms, gyms and spare rooms. Both use indoor-rated electric heaters.

Most home saunas run on a dedicated single- or three-phase circuit sized to the heater. We’ll confirm the exact electrical requirement in your quote.

Both are food-grade and corrosion-resistant; 316 adds extra protection for coastal and chlorinated environments. We recommend the right grade for your site. See ice baths.

Ice works to get started, but a chiller holds a precise temperature day after day with no effort — the easiest way to make cold therapy a daily habit.

Our chillers take the water down to around 3°C and hold it there. Most people plunge between 3–10°C depending on experience.

A built-in filtration and sanitation cycle keeps the water fresh for weeks. We’ll walk you through simple water care at handover.
