4 Person Corner Infrared Sauna

Most infrared saunas are a box against a wall. This one is cut on the diagonal to sit into a 90-degree corner, which is the part of a room almost nothing else uses.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really fit four people?
Four adults seated, yes. The L-bench runs along two walls with a return, so people sit facing in rather than jammed in a row, which is what makes four workable in a 1500 x 1500mm footprint. Most owners use it as a roomy two or three person cabin day to day and have the fourth seat when they want it.
How is this different from a traditional sauna?
A traditional sauna heats the air with a stone heater and runs at 70 to 100 degrees. This heats you directly with infrared panels and runs at 25 to 67 degrees. Lower temperature, longer sessions, no water on stones, no steam.
What power supply does it need?
A dedicated circuit, not a shared household socket. Four-person cabins with panels on every wall draw more than the small units. Get the exact figure from us at quote and have an electrician confirm before delivery.
Can I put it outside?
No. This is an indoor cabin. The panel construction and the electrics are not built for weather or humidity. If you want a sauna outdoors, look at the outdoor traditional range instead.
How long does it take to heat up?
Faster than a traditional sauna, because there is no stone mass to bring up to temperature — the panels start radiating almost immediately. We will give you the manufacturer's figure with your quote rather than guess at it here.
Do I have to build it myself?
No. Professional installation is available as an add-on. Plenty of owners do build it themselves — it is a panel system, not carpentry — but it is your call.
Is Red Cedar worth the extra over Hemlock?
Performance is identical — same panels, same heat, same temperatures. Cedar buys you the colour, the grain and the scent. If the cabin is going somewhere you look at every day, most people say yes. If it is going in a spare room, Hemlock is perfectly good and nobody will think less of you.
Can I see one before I buy?
Yes. RonYen Shop and Wellness Garden in Bang Saen, Chonburi, by appointment.

About this sauna

Overview

The front is glass across three facets, with two full-height glass doors on the centre panel. From outside it reads as a glass cabinet rather than a timber shed. From inside, you get the view out, which is the difference between twenty minutes that drags and twenty minutes that doesn’t.

Seating is an L-bench,  a long run with a return, so four adults sit facing in rather than in a row. Infrared panels sit at the back, both side walls and at calf level under the bench, so heat reaches the legs as well as the back. Ceiling spotlights and colour lighting are fitted as standard.

It runs at 25 to 67 degrees. That is well under a traditional stone sauna, which is the point of infrared: you can sit longer at a temperature that doesn’t knock you about.

Built to order. Delivered anywhere in Thailand.

Customisations:

  • Timber selection. Canadian Hemlock or Red Cedar. See the timber options below.
  • Professional installation. Priced on your location, quoted at order.
  • Commercial use. If this is going into a gym, hotel or studio rather than a home, tell us at enquiry so we can spec it properly.

Wood Options:

Canadian Hemlock. The standard. Pale, even grain, close to odourless, holds its colour. The usual choice for infrared cabins because there is no resin to bleed at operating temperature.

Red Cedar. The upgrade, and a real one. Deep reddish-brown with pronounced grain, and it carries the cedar scent most people picture when they think of a sauna. Cedar is the top grade in our timber range, and it looks it.

Timber choice does not change the heating system, the panels or the performance. It changes how the cabin looks and how it smells.

Features:

  • Infrared panel set, pre-wired into the wall panels
  • Digital temperature and timer control
  • Ceiling spotlights and colour lighting
  • Toughened glass front and doors, with handle
  • Timber bench set and backrests
  • Slatted timber floor

Electrical Requirements

This cabin needs its own dedicated circuit run back to the switchboard, not a power point shared with the rest of the room. Four-person infrared cabins draw more than the small single-seat units, and a shared circuit will trip or run hot. We’ll include the exact load, breaker, and cable size in your quote so your electrician can price the job properly, and we recommend a 30mA RCBO on the circuit. Have it in and tested before delivery day. It’s the one thing that will hold up a handover if it isn’t ready.

  • Corner footprint. 1500 x 1500mm cut on the diagonal, designed to sit into a room corner rather than along a wall.
  • Three-facet glass front. Full-height toughened glass across the front, with two glass doors on the centre panel and a timber pull handle.
  • L-bench seating for four. Upper bench with backrest and a lower step bench, arranged so four people sit facing in rather than shoulder to shoulder.
  • Panels on every side. Infrared panels at the back, both side walls and at calf level beneath the bench.
  • Ceiling lighting. Recessed spotlights plus colour lighting fitted as standard.
  • Full timber floor. Slatted timber floor throughout, no bare base.
  • Digital control. Temperature and timer control mounted at the cabin.
  • 25 to 67 degrees. Lower operating temperature than a traditional sauna. Longer, easier sessions.
Delivery

Delivered flat-pack, anywhere in Thailand, included in the price.

Lead time is 8 to 10 weeks from order. It is built to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you.

Access matters. Measure your doorways and any stairs or lift before you order and tell us the numbers. The panels arrive as flat sections rather than one assembled cabinet, but they are still large. We would rather solve an access problem on the phone than on your driveway.

Installation

Build it yourself. This is a panel system, not carpentry. The walls arrive as finished sections with the infrared panels, lighting and wiring already fitted inside them. They lock to a base, the ceiling panel drops on top, and the glass front goes in last. Everything is pre-wired, so you are connecting plugs to sockets rather than wiring anything.

Two people, basic hand tools, and an afternoon for most of it. You want two people because the glass front is heavy and awkward on your own, not because the work is hard.

Order of work: clear and check the corner, lay the base, stand and lock the wall panels, connect the panel looms, fit the ceiling, hang the glass front and doors, then fit benches, backrests and floor slats. The electrical connection to your supply is the last step and should be done by an electrician.

We build it. Professional installation is available as an add-on, priced on your location and quoted at order. Our team assembles it, connects it and shows you how to run it before they leave.

Whichever you choose, the electrical supply is a separate job. See the electrical requirements below. Have that circuit in and tested before delivery day — it is the one thing that will hold up a handover if it is not ready.

Two things worth thinking about before you pick the corner.

Humidity. This is a timber cabin and Thailand is humid. It will be
happiest in a room that gets air conditioning or decent airflow —
a bedroom, a gym room, a converted spare room. A closed-up room
that never gets aired is harder on timber over years.

Clearance. Leave a hand's width behind and above the cabin. It
needs to breathe, and you will want the access if anything ever
needs looking at. Do not build it into a recess with no gap.

Warranty

If an electrical item stops working within the warranty period, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge.

Electronics: 1 year on infrared panels, control unit, lighting and wiring

Structure: 2 years on timber panels, benches, glass and hardware

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal domestic use. Register your purchase with us at delivery so we have the serial and the install date on file.

Not covered: misuse or modification, normal wear, damage from an incorrect or unstable electrical supply, water damage of any kind, outdoor installation, and commercial use unless agreed in writing at order.

Timber is a natural material. Colour will deepen and even out over the first months, and small movement between boards with the seasons is normal. Neither is a fault.

Care & Maintenance

Never put water on it. This is the one rule that matters. An infrared cabin is not a traditional sauna — there is no stove and no stones, and water will damage the panels and the wiring. No buckets, no ladles, no throwing water on anything.

Sit on a towel, and take another one in. Sweat on bare timber is what marks a bench over time. A towel under you and one to wipe down with afterwards will keep the interior looking new for years.

Leave the door open after use. Ten or fifteen minutes with the doors ajar lets the cabin dry out properly. This matters more in Thailand than it does in Europe.

Give the room some air. This is a timber cabin in a humid country. It will be happiest in a room that gets air conditioning or reasonable airflow — a bedroom, a gym room, a converted spare room. A closed-up room that never gets aired is harder on timber over the years.

Leave a gap behind it. A hand's width behind and above the cabin. It needs to breathe, and you will want the access if anything ever needs looking at. Do not build it into a recess with no clearance.

Cleaning. A dry brush or vacuum on the floor slats. A barely damp cloth on the benches if you need it. Nothing else — no detergent, no bleach, no furniture polish, no oil. Timber inside a sauna is left raw on purpose so it can breathe and absorb. Sealing or varnishing it will ruin it and void the warranty.

Glass. Ordinary glass cleaner on the outside. A damp cloth on the inside.

Once a year. Run it up to temperature and check every panel is heating, the lights all work and the control responds. Look over the bench fixings and give them a turn if anything has loosened. Ten minutes, once a year.

On the timber changing colour. It will. Both Hemlock and Red Cedar deepen and even out over the first months of use, and cedar more noticeably than hemlock. That is the timber doing what timber does, not a fault.

Common questions

Everything you want to know about saunas & heaters

Outdoor and indoor cabins, barrels, cylinders, cube and modern designs, plus sauna-and-shower combos — from a compact one-person unit up to fourteen-person commercial rooms. Every model is made to order and customisable to your space. Browse saunas.

Red Cedar and Finnish Thermo Pine both handle heat and humidity beautifully — cedar for its aroma and natural rot resistance, thermo pine for its stability in wet conditions. Japanese Hinoki is our premium pick. Canadian Hemlock is excellent value for indoor cabins. We’ll match the timber to your budget, look and location.

Outdoor saunas are fully weather-sealed for gardens, rooftops and pool decks. Indoor models are built for bathrooms, gyms and spare rooms. Both use the same indoor-rated electric stone heaters — the difference is the exterior cladding and weatherproofing.

It depends on the internal volume of the cabin. As a guide: 4.5kW for 3–6 m³, 6kW for 5–8 m³, 9kW for 8–11 m³, 12kW for 11–15 m³, 15kW for 13–18 m³ and 18kW for 15–20 m³. Above 20 m³ takes two heaters. Up to and including 9kW runs on single phase; above that is three phase only, which in practice means anything from a six-person cabin upwards. We confirm the exact requirement in your quote so your electrician knows precisely what to install.

Both are food-grade and corrosion-resistant. 316 adds extra protection for coastal air and chlorinated water, so it’s the safer choice near the sea or beside a pool. 304 is excellent value everywhere else. We’ll recommend the right grade for your site. See ice baths.

Ice works to get started, but it melts fast in Thailand and gets expensive. A chiller holds a precise temperature day after day with no effort — it’s the easiest way to make cold therapy a daily habit rather than an occasional event.

Our chillers run from 0°C to 42°C, so the same unit chills in the hot season and heats in the cool one. Most people plunge between 3°C and 10°C. Beginners usually start around 12–15°C and work down over a few weeks.

Our chillers include filtration and ozone sanitation that keep the water fresh for weeks between changes: run the ozone for 30–60 minutes after each session with the lid on, and the hydrogen peroxide in the cleaning kit keeps the water clean in between (about 160 ml on a fresh 320 L fill, then ~50 ml a week, checked with a test strip). Both are safe on stainless, acrylic and PVC baths. We walk you through it at handover — it’s far less work than a pool.

Yes. Our brochures are on the site as downloads and we can email them to you. Because every sauna is made to order, the catalogue shows configurations and starting prices rather than a fixed range. Download the brochures.

Yes, for saunas in commercial operation. A room running twelve hours a day carries four to six times the load of a home installation, and scheduled servicing is what keeps it performing and keeps the warranty intact. Commercial servicing.

Yes — every sauna arrives in a sealed timber crate with the wall sections already built, and most assemble in a day with two or three people and the supplied instructions. No specialist tools needed. Prefer it done for you? Our team can handle the full install. Installation service.

Delivery to the spot, full assembly, levelling, fitting the heater, and a handover walkthrough so it’s ready to use the same day. It’s the easy option if you’d rather not build it yourself.

A firm, level base — a concrete pad, deck or paved area — plus a power point within reach for the heater. We send a simple prep checklist before delivery so everything’s ready when your sauna arrives.

The final hard-wire connection of the heater should be made by a licensed electrician — that part isn’t included, for safety and compliance. We supply the full heater specification and can recommend trusted local contractors.
