Frequently Asked Questions
Can this chiller be used outdoors in hot or rainy climates?
Yes. The unit is rated IPX4, meaning it can handle water splashing from any direction. The industrial-grade cooling fan supports continuous operation in ambient temperatures up to 70°C. Place it in a shaded, well-ventilated spot if possible to maximise efficiency.
What is the minimum water temperature this chiller can reach?
The chiller can bring water down to 0°C, with a rated minimum operating floor of −1°C using Zero Cryo Technology. Actual chill time depends on starting water temperature, tub volume, and ambient conditions.
Does it work on standard Australian household power?
Yes. Australia runs on 220–240V 50Hz, which is within the unit's rated supply range. Plug it into a standard 15 A GPO protected by an RCD. A 100–240V wide-voltage adapter is available on request if you need to use the unit in a different region.
How does the ozone disinfection work, and do I still need to add chemicals to the water?
The built-in ozone generator produces up to 50 mg/hr of ozone, which is dissolved into the circulating water to kill bacteria and reduce odours. It significantly reduces the need for chemical sanitisers, but a periodic water change every 4–6 weeks is still recommended to maintain water quality.
What is the difference between the standard and T3 variations?
The T3 variant runs a higher-capacity compressor (2420W vs 1750W) producing around 24% more cooling output (7075W vs 5710W). It is suited to larger tubs or environments where faster chill-down times are needed. Both variants use the same AC 220–240V 50/60Hz power supply.

About this chiller

Overview

Both cooling and heating functions are built in, making the unit practical year-round. The 7-inch full-colour LCD touchscreen displays real-time water temperature, operating mode and equipment status at a glance, while Wi-Fi connectivity via the Tuya app allows remote control and scheduling from a phone.

The 304 stainless steel honeycomb heat-dissipation panel resists corrosion, and IPX4 weatherproofing means the unit can be placed outdoors. Four load-bearing castors with a 360° swivel and brake lock make it easy to reposition on any surface. A built-in ozone disinfection system (up to 50 mg/hr) reduces the need for chemical water treatment.

Delivery

Lead times vary by stock availability — confirm current lead time at the time of order. The unit ships fully assembled in foam, carton, and wooden box packaging.

Delivery is to kerbside or ground-floor access. The chiller weighs 63 kg; ensure adequate assistance or equipment is available for unloading and placement. The castors allow the unit to be wheeled into its final position once on a flat surface.

For upper-floor or difficult-access installations, arrange additional lifting assistance prior to delivery. Notify us of any access restrictions (narrow gates, stairs, lifts) at the time of order so logistics can be planned accordingly.

Installation

The chiller arrives largely pre-assembled and requires only plumbing connection to the ice bath or plunge pool — no specialist refrigeration or electrical trade is needed for the water hookup.

Connect the two included water pipes to the aluminium alloy inlet and outlet ports on the rear of the unit using the included adapter interface. Wrap threaded connections with the included waterproof tape for a leak-free seal. Route the hoses to the tub and ensure they are secured before powering on.

Plug the unit into a standard AC 220–240V 50/60Hz power outlet rated for at least 13 A (standard model) or 15 A (T3 model). A 100–240V wide-voltage adapter is available on request for other voltage regions. No hardwiring is required under standard installation. Ensure the outlet is protected by an appropriate RCD/safety switch as recommended for any appliance used near water.

Download the Tuya app on iOS or Android and follow the included Remote Connection Instruction Manual to pair the chiller to your Wi-Fi network. All temperature control and scheduling can then be managed from the app or via the on-unit touchscreen.

Warranty

16-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage details should be confirmed with the retailer at point of sale.

Care & Maintenance

Filters
- Inspect the dual precision filter elements every 2–4 weeks depending on usage and water quality. Unscrew the filter housing using the included filter bottle wrench, rinse the element under clean water, and refit. Replace with the supplied spare when the element is visibly degraded.
- The extra small inline filter should be checked monthly; rinse or replace as needed.

Water
- Drain and refill the connected tub every 4–6 weeks under normal household use, or more frequently in commercial or high-use settings.
- The ozone disinfection system (up to 50 mg/hr) reduces the need for chemical additives but does not eliminate the need for periodic water changes.
- Use the included condensate drain nozzle to fully drain the unit before extended storage or transport.

Exterior
- Wipe the stainless steel and powder-coated panels with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the finish.
- Keep the cooling fan intake clear of debris, leaves and dust, particularly in outdoor installations.

General
- Do not operate the chiller without water flowing through it; dry running will damage the pump and heat exchanger.
- Check hose connections for leaks at each seasonal start-up. Wrap threaded fittings with the included waterproof tape if weeping is observed.
- Store indoors or cover the unit if it will not be used for an extended period in harsh weather.

What People Say

Real customers, real saunas, real ice baths — in Thai homes, villas, condos and commercial spaces.

This is the third chiller I have purchased in the last 2 years. This new chiller is perfect and can be operated from the App, allowing me to only have it operating for a few hours before each morning plunge. The service I have received has also been excellent.
