Frequently Asked Questions
What size ice bath or plunge pool does this chiller suit?
The Premium 2.0HP is designed for large setups holding 650–1,300 litres. This includes XL single-person plunge pools, multi-person ice baths, and commercial cold therapy installations. For standard tubs under 600 litres, our RonYen Ice Bath Chiller 1.0HP or 2.0HP are more suitable and cost-effective options.
Does it really make ice?
Yes. At its lowest temperature settings, this chiller produces genuine surface ice formation on the water. This is a standout feature — most residential and light-commercial chillers can only cool water down to a few degrees without actual ice production.
How quiet is it?
Noticeably quieter than standard chillers. The Premium 2.0HP is engineered for environments where noise matters — spas, hotels, home wellness rooms, and residential settings where a compressor drone would be unwelcome. For the quietest experience, install in a separate utility or plant room.
Does the chiller also heat water?
Yes. The temperature range extends to 55°C, making it a full contrast therapy system. You can run cold plunge sessions and hot water therapy from the same unit — no separate heater required.
How does this compare to the standard RonYen 2.0HP chiller?
The Premium handles significantly larger water volumes (650–1,300L vs standard tub sizes), has a wider temperature range (1–55°C vs 3–42°C), produces actual ice, and runs quieter. It also includes ozone as standard rather than optional. It's a bigger, heavier, more powerful unit designed for permanent installation in premium setups.
How often do I need to change the water?
With ozone disinfection and filtration running, water stays clean for 2–4 weeks depending on usage. Larger volumes naturally stay fresher longer. Commercial environments with heavy daily use will need more frequent changes. Always require users to shower before entering.
What power supply does it need?
230V / 50Hz — standard Thai power. Due to the higher output, a dedicated circuit is recommended, especially for commercial installations. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about your existing setup.
Can I install this outdoors?
Yes, but the unit should be protected from direct rain and sunlight. A covered area, purpose-built enclosure, or our timber weather box is recommended. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit at all times.
What warranty is included?
1-year warranty on electrical components with replacement unit delivered to your location. 1-year structural warranty. Coverage excludes normal wear, unauthorised modifications, or accidental damage.

About this chiller

Overview

This unit handles water volumes from 650 to 1,300 litres, making it the only chiller in our range capable of powering XL plunge pools, multi-person ice baths, and high-capacity commercial installations. The extended temperature range of 1–55°C covers everything from genuine ice-forming cold therapy to full hot-water contrast protocols—all from a single unit.

What sets this chiller apart is its ability to produce actual ice. At its lowest settings, water crystallises on the surface — a feature typically reserved for industrial-grade equipment. Combined with whisper-quiet operation, it delivers a premium cold therapy experience without the noise typically associated with high-output chillers.

Built-in ozone disinfection runs automatically to keep the water clean between sessions, and the integrated filtration system handles sediment and debris. WiFi control lets you monitor and adjust temperature, scheduling, and ozone settings remotely via your phone.

At 75kg (packed), this is a substantial unit built for permanent installation rather than frequent repositioning. It’s the right choice when you need maximum cooling power, maximum water volume capacity, and the quietest possible operation.

Delivery

### Delivery

Free delivery anywhere in Thailand. Ships within 5–7 business days. Remote areas may require additional time.

### Installation

1. Position the chiller on a flat, stable surface near the tub or plunge pool
2. Allow 24 hours after delivery before first use for refrigerant to settle
3. Connect inlet and outlet hoses between the chiller and tub
4. Fill the tub to the required water level
5. Connect to a 230V / 50Hz power supply
6. Power on and set your target temperature via the touchscreen or WiFi app
7. Allow sufficient time for initial cool-down — larger volumes (1,000L+) may take several hours to reach target temperature

Important Notes

- Maintain adequate clearance on all sides of the chiller for airflow and ventilation
- Do not install in enclosed spaces — the unit requires open airflow to operate efficiently
- The chiller must be grounded before use
- Due to the unit's weight, plan your final position before installation — this is not a unit designed for frequent repositioning
- Indoor installation in a plant room or utility area is recommended for optimal noise reduction and weather protection
- Ensure the power circuit can handle the load — a dedicated circuit is recommended
- Turn off the chiller before entering the ice bath

Everything you want to know about saunas & heaters

Outdoor and indoor cabins, barrels, cylinders and sauna + shower combos — from a compact one-person unit up to ten-person commercial rooms, all customisable to your space. Browse saunas.

Western Red Cedar and Finnish Thermo Pine both handle heat and humidity beautifully; Hinoki is our premium pick. We’ll match the timber to your budget and location.

Outdoor saunas are fully weather-sealed for gardens, rooftops and pool decks; indoor models are built for bathrooms, gyms and spare rooms. Both use indoor-rated electric heaters.

Most home saunas run on a dedicated single- or three-phase circuit sized to the heater. We’ll confirm the exact electrical requirement in your quote.

Both are food-grade and corrosion-resistant; 316 adds extra protection for coastal and chlorinated environments. We recommend the right grade for your site. See ice baths.

Ice works to get started, but a chiller holds a precise temperature day after day with no effort — the easiest way to make cold therapy a daily habit.

Our chillers take the water down to around 3°C and hold it there. Most people plunge between 3–10°C depending on experience.

A built-in filtration and sanitation cycle keeps the water fresh for weeks. We’ll walk you through simple water care at handover.

We soft-open on 30 July 2026 in Chonburi (with Founding Member pricing) and fully open on 4 September — and booking is open now, so you can reserve a session ahead. Book a visit.

The Garden runs on advance bookings so every session has the space to itself — so book ahead if you can. That said, if you're passing and spot us, scan the sign at the gate or give us a call, and if there's room in the current session we'll happily wave you in.

Saunas, ice baths, a swimming pool and shaded lounge areas — everything you need for the full hot-and-cold circuit. Explore the garden.

The Wellness Garden is in Chonburi, easily reached from Bangkok and Pattaya. Full directions and parking details are on the garden page.

Yes — most saunas assemble in a day with two or three people and clear instructions. Prefer it done for you? Our team can handle the full install. Installation service.

Delivery to the spot, full assembly, levelling, heater fitting and a handover walkthrough so it’s ready to use the same day.

A firm, level base — a concrete pad, deck or paved area — plus a nearby power point. We’ll send a simple prep checklist before delivery.

Final connection should be made by a licensed electrician. We provide the full specification and can recommend trusted local contractors.

Yes — we deliver right across Thailand by freight, and ship internationally on request. Delivery details.

Most saunas are ready six to eight weeks from order. Once built, freight to your address typically takes a few days, with tracking provided.

Standard nationwide delivery is included. For tricky access — rooftops, tight lanes or upper floors — we’ll quote any crane or extra handling up front.

Everything ships in a purpose-built timber crate to protect the timber and glass in transit — and the crate is easy to dispose of or repurpose.
